Continue to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, renowned for its elephant rescue and rehabilitation programme, where visitors can observe orphaned elephant calves during a scheduled public viewing session and learn about the efforts to protect these remarkable animals. At the Giraffe Centre, encounter endangered Rothschild's giraffes at close range, learn about their conservation and enjoy the opportunity to feed them from an elevated viewing platform. The experience also takes you to Karen, one of Nairobi's most distinctive suburbs, known for its leafy surroundings, historical connections to Danish author Karen Blixen and relaxed dining experiences. Together, these attractions offer a rewarding introduction to Nairobi, bringing together the city's natural heritage, wildlife conservation and cultural history in a single excursion.
